This series of rubber moulded subsea bulkhead connectors is available with 2, 3 or 4 contacts and a maximum pressure rating of 10,000 psi. The connectors have 16 AWG pigtails and are supplied with aluminium bronze housings as standard. We offer an optional 316 stainless steel housing.
The 2 15FBORA, and 2 15MBORA connectors are available in three different thread lengths: 1/2”, 3/4″ and 1”, see product matrix.
Only install with the pigtail on the low pressure side of the bulkhead or vessel. The pigtail-side pressure must not exceed the pressure applied to the connector side.
We stock the range of corresponding 230 volt/15 Amp rated cable connectors.
For situations where mated connectors may be under mechanical stress, optional locking sleeves are available to maintain good electrical contact for many but not all connectors – see product matrix. For standard series connectors, the LS series locking sleeve must be fitted to the cable prior to installation.
The subsea connectors use a proven water expulsion mating process achieving ratings of up to 10,000 psi. Electrical power must be off before connecting or separating any of these products.
